1. Who we are
NaraCheck is operated by AceLearn Services (RC 9609478), Nigeria — a real-price marketplace where buyers see what others actually paid, and sellers, artisans, and other businesses list their own prices directly.
2. Accounts
You register using a phone number and a 6-digit PIN. You're responsible for keeping your PIN confidential and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us on WhatsApp immediately.
You must be at least 18 years old to register as a Seller, Area Partner, or to make payments on NaraCheck.
3. Buyer search credit
Buyers pay a small fee per search (currently ₦50) using recharged search credit. Recharges are processed through Korapay and are added to your balance once payment is confirmed. Search credit is non-refundable once spent on a search, except where required by law or where NaraCheck determines a technical error caused an incorrect charge.
4. Selling on NaraCheck
NaraCheck supports several kinds of sellers: Business Owners, Artisans (offering a skill or service), Places (hotels, restaurants, and similar venues), Companies, Distributors, and Wholesalers. Whichever category you register under, the following applies to you:
Before you can list, your address is reviewed and approved by an Area Partner in your territory. Listings may be removed, and accounts suspended, for false information, repeated buyer complaints, or violation of these terms.
5. Seller subscriptions and fees
New sellers receive a limited number of free listings. Continued visibility after that requires a paid subscription (currently ₦200/day), which is tied to your phone number and covers all categories you genuinely sell in. Subscription payments are processed through Korapay and are non-refundable once the corresponding period has begun, except where required by law.
6. Area Partners
Area Partners are independent contractors, not employees of AceLearn Services. As an Area Partner:
- You are personally responsible for the seller addresses you approve. Approving an address you knew or should reasonably have known to be false places that responsibility on you.
- You earn commission on seller subscription payments in your territory, structured as explained to you during registration.
- State Coordinators additionally approve new Area Partners in their state and earn an override on statewide subscription payments, on top of their own Area Partner commission.
- Commission is currently paid in full; tax withholding may be introduced later once formal arrangements are in place, and we'll notify affected Partners in advance.
7. In-app messaging
Support requests you send us on WhatsApp (for example, a PIN reset) happen on WhatsApp itself, outside NaraCheck's systems — we don't control or store those separately from what WhatsApp itself retains.
8. Prohibited conduct
- Listing counterfeit, banned, stolen, or otherwise unlawful goods or services
- Submitting false prices, fake addresses, or impersonating another person or business
- Attempting to circumvent search credit or subscription payments
- Harassing, threatening, or defrauding another user
- Using the platform for any purpose that violates Nigerian law
Violation may result in listing removal, account suspension, forfeiture of unused credit or subscription time, and — where warranted — a report to the appropriate authorities.
9. No guarantee on prices or listings
Prices shown on NaraCheck are submitted by users and reflect what someone reported paying — they are not verified for accuracy in real time and can change. NaraCheck is a platform connecting buyers and sellers; we are not a party to any purchase you make from a seller, and we don't guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any listed product beyond the address-verification step described above.
10. The free Learn section
NaraCheck's Learn section provides general financial education. It is not personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and we're not responsible for financial decisions you make based on it.
11. Termination
You may stop using NaraCheck and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or list unlawful products.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, AceLearn Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of NaraCheck, disputes with other users, or transactions conducted outside the platform (including via WhatsApp).
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of NaraCheck after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
