Plain-language notice. This policy was prepared without a lawyer, using the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 (FCCPA) as a guide, and is written to be fair and honest rather than to minimize refunds. It has not been reviewed by a legal professional.
Read this first — the most important thing to understand: NairaCheck is a price-discovery platform, not a store. When you buy something from a Seller you found on NairaCheck, you pay that Seller directly — NairaCheck never touches that money. This Refund Policy only covers fees you pay to NairaCheck itself (search credit, Seller subscriptions, and listing fees). Disputes about a product or service you bought from a Seller are between you and that Seller — see Section 4 for what NairaCheck can and can't do to help.
1. What this policy covers

Seller subscription (₦200/day)
Yes, under Section 2, for unused days
Seller listing fee (₦10/listing)
Only if charged in error — see Section 2
Goods or services bought from a Seller
Not through NairaCheck — see Section 4
2. When you're entitled to a refund from NairaCheck
You are entitled to a refund of a NairaCheck platform fee where:
You were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge, or a charge for a search or listing that never went through due to a technical fault on our side.
The service you paid for could not be delivered — for example, you paid for search credit but a platform outage prevented you from searching, or you paid for a Seller subscription day that never went live due to a fault on our side.
You have unused, prepaid Buyer search credit and wish to close your account — the remaining balance is refundable on request.
Seller subscription days already used (i.e., days your listings were actually visible to Buyers) and listing fees for listings that went live as intended are not refundable simply due to a change of mind, since the service (visibility, or an active listing) was genuinely provided.
3. How to request a refund
Contact us at acelearnservices@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +234 907 533 5194 with your phone number, the approximate date and amount of the charge, and what happened. We aim to respond within 3 business days and, where a refund is due, to process it within 7 business days back to your original payment method via Korapay.
4. Disputes about goods or services bought from a Seller
Because NairaCheck does not process payment for goods or services listed by Sellers, we cannot issue a refund on a Seller's behalf. If a Seller you found through NairaCheck fails to deliver, misrepresents a product, or otherwise wrongs you as a consumer, you have rights directly against that Seller under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 — including the right to a refund, repair, or replacement where goods are faulty, unsafe, or not as described, regardless of any "no refund" claim the Seller may make.
What NairaCheck can do:
Help you identify the Seller's registered details (name, phone number, verified address) so you can pursue the matter directly, including with the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) if needed.
Investigate and, where warranted, remove a Seller who is confirmed to be fraudulent or who repeatedly fails to honour their listings — report this to us using the contact details above.
Pass on serious or repeated complaints to the Area Partner who verified that Seller, since an AP is responsible for the accuracy of approvals they make.
What NairaCheck cannot do: refund money you paid directly to a Seller, since that transaction never passes through our systems.
5. Area Partner, Coordinator, and Patron payments
This Refund Policy does not apply to commission and override payments described in the Terms of Service — those are governed by Sections 6–9 of the Terms of Service.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your payment applies to that payment.
